Omnika in Motion is a multidisciplinary performance collective creating on the unceded, traditional, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations also called Vancouver BC.

 

Since their 2013 debut, Omnika has liberated imaginations with bizarre theatrics and the infinite exploration of movement.  Omnika has featured numerous dancers, circus artists, Costume designers, and theatre professionals. From inception to presentation, every member's voice and vision is valued. Their diverse backgrounds of Waacking, Burlesque, Hoop dance, Stilting, Aerials, Dance and Theatre converge until the lines between genres are blurred and defied. The performers of Omnika come together sharing their individual experiences, cultures and identities to craft unique and evocative experiences through the shared language of dance.
